Despite the fact that the theatre was erected and furnished
at enormous cost only seven years ago, nothing has been spared
by the Proprietors to retain for their Patrons comfort and
luxury. Within the last year hundreds of pounds have been
spent on redecorating and partially refurnishing the building.

It can be justly claimed also that the atmosphere of the
building is always kept healthy; the seats and carpets are
cleaned daily by means of an 8h.p. vacuum cleaning plant
electrically driven.

The building is purified by the use of huge electric fans,
which have the additional advantage of keeping the theatre
cool during the warmer months. In winter the theatre is kept
beautifully warm by the most modern heating apparatus and it is
pleasant to relate that all parts of the auditorium are absolutely
free from draughts.
