An
outstanding feature in the past has been to engage
high-class musical
and speciality acts from the leading British and
Continental Circuits,
with the result that the variety poportion of
the programmes has
invariably met with universal approval. As
reports have lately shown
there is inclined to be a dearth of
talent in the variety world,
but our efforts in future will be none
the less strenuous than in
the past to bring to the stage of the
"Queen's" the best
acts that it is possible to engage.
Patrons will have noticed the improved recently effected
on the stage by the introduction of New Settings. These draperies,
rich and delicate in colour, have been installed at enormous cost.
They are a wonderful creation, and make the stage look
exceedingly
attractive.
